General Delivery Information

Your order will usually arrive anytime up to (before) 6.00pm on the day of delivery.

Delivery times depend on the time you placed your order and how far away the location is from our dispatch.

No VIP or timed deliveries are available during special days such as Mother’s Day, Christmas or Valentine’s Day.

Delivery charges start from $18.50.

Charges are based on the time of ordering, the delivery location and what you choose as the delivery time. Your delivery charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout in your order total.

To check if your flowers have been delivered, call us the next day.

Please be careful in providing us with a correct and up to date delivery address. If you provide us with an incorrect address and we deliver your order as per your instructions, it is your then we accept no responsibility for the mistake.

If we are unable to deliver to an incorrect address and the order is returned to our dispatch, we can redeliver, but at a charge of 50% of the original order plus the additional delivery charge.

We deliver flowers on Saturdays but those deliveries are not available for all locations. For more flexible deliveries, please select a weekday.

We generally do not deliver on Sundays, with the exception of Mother’s Day Sunday.

We generally don’t deliver during public holidays.

At Susan Avery, we are aware that every flower delivery is unique. To help us send your flower gift smoothly, during the checkout process you’re required to select certain delivery requirements.

Deliveries to Businesses

When you ask us to deliver to a business address we need to know if we should deliver to a reception or delivery dock;

Please check that the recipient will be available on the day.

We aren’t responsible for orders not collected by the recipient on the delivery day from the reception, the mail room, the delivery dock, or other specific areas of the business.

Deliveries to Residential Addresses

We need to know if we should leave the order by the front or back door of the house; or leave order at the foyer or reception of a security building or apartment block.

If our courier does not think it’s safe to leave the order, it will be returned to dispatch. This may be, for instance, if there is no sheltered area to leave the goods away from street or public view; or if there is no access to the building, unit/apartment; or if there is no suitable place to leave the delivery.

Deliveries to Schools and Similar Institutions

We need to know if we should deliver to a specific area such as the reception os the administration building.

Please consider school holiday times when placing your order.

Resends

To resend, we will charge a refreshment and re-delivery fee.

All orders placed during special event periods are final and Susan Avery will not accept any changes, amendments or cancellations to orders.
